This ball is actually a Callaway ball. Callaway bought top flight and created this ball. Got a Gold star from golf digest as one of the best balls for it's price. Callaway has since sold Top flight. I love this ball you can usually get 2 dozen for $30

Looks like a Bridgestone with dimples. Good review thanks!

Nice video of the Topflite I’m a senior and score high 70’s low 80’s with an average drive of 220-225. I was playing urethane balls exclusively but decided to try a few ionomer and cheaper priced balls to include the Bridgestone e12 contact and this Topflite gamer. I like both but am hooked on the Gamer for some reason. I, Ike the compression of 77 and at 26.00 a dozen and two dozen for 30.00 where I shop it’s great. And this ball seems as long as any other and I just allow for a little more rollout on the shorter shots no big deal!

I fell in love with this dimple design which originated in Korea some 20 years ago. When the dimple design resurfaced under the Gamer, I played it periodically. They would tinker with the cover almost annually and ended up with a Urethane cover. You could spin the heck out of it but it was nothing to go thru 1-2 sleeves a round. A good short iron would really wrinkle the cover. So I drifted away from it. Tried the RB 566 from Mizuno because of same dimple design but was disappointed by control around the green (2 piece ball). So looked at Dick’s recently and saw the newer Gamer version at 2 dz for $25 (6/2024). Waiting to try them out. Plenty of balls in the market I like but always prefer the trajectory from this dimple pattern. Currently as a SuperSR I am playing Triad and PXG, but pulling for the Gamer. Love the look on my groups face when I hit a one hop wedge and they ask about what ball I am using as they are all Titleist clones. I say Top Flite and they giggle. Don’t be afraid to try these. Good review as always.

Top Flite put out the Gamer Tour about 3-4 years ago. Urethane cover, three pc. Spun like crazy, shredded like crazy. Around $17 per dozen. Discontinued after about a year.

I enjoy the ball reviews. I’d like to see you try the budget Wilson Duo Soft golf balls. I know you will hate the low spin rate, especially around the green. But I’m dying to know how far it will fly for you. ⛳️

Be careful buying Top Flight golf balls in the US at a Golf Galaxy. I just bought (11.16.2023) two boxes, they are having a "2 boxes for $25" when normally 1 box will cost you $19.95 for Top Flight XL balls (15 balls per box). When I got home I noticed that one box did not have the usual round clear stickers closing each end. I compared the balls in the box without stickers to the box with stickers. The balls in the box without the stickers contain balls that look as if they are defect manufactured balls. They have clearly been sprayed with clearcoat in a defective manner as balls look when buying refurbished balls on the 2nd hand market. The balls that came in the box with the stickers are A+ balls that a buyer would expect to receive when buying new balls. So buyer beware. Make sure the boxes of balls that you buy have stickers at each end. And by stickers I mean the clear kind that have to be cut in order to open the box. I will be interested to see how the defective balls play. I would return the grade B/C balls but I already put my playing mark on them with a Sharpie. Unfortunately I opened the grade B/C balls first and just thought, "these balls are really poorly manufactured." It has been a while since I have purchased Top Flight balls and just assumed that their quality control had gone down hill. It was not until I opened the box with the tape on it that I realized, "hey, this box was taped shut and the other one was not. Maybe this means that there is something fishy going on." And sure enough when I inspected the balls in the taped box they look completely different.

Top flights fly a long way. I keep them for water hazard holes.
