In my opinion, you are one of the best java instructors that can be found on YouTube, and also in this video you show a great sense of humor. Another thing that I like about your videos is that you use a language that for me, being a Spanish speaker, is highly understandable without the need to use subtitles. As a computer science college instructor myself, I can comment to the "why pay for college when I can watch you?" thoughts. The college environment isn't for everyone, and I find your videos serve as a wonderful refresher on concepts I had forgotten about, and I often use them to supplement my classroom lectures. Not everyone is going to "get" my explanations, so I don't see any reason why not to provide a second source (these videos) just in case my explanation isn't sufficient for some students.

Ultimately, by only watching videos like this, you lose the direct back-and-forth communication that you get in a classroom. I know the vast majority of my students would never have gotten most of the topics I'm teaching if there wasn't someone there to answer questions and clarify things, and that's much harder to do on a comment section. So that's, in my view, the main tradeoff between college vs. online videos for learning.
