Snow levels are around the 3,500' to 4,500' mark. And because of the deep moisture layer, mountains and mountain passes across Northern Washington are looking at 6+ inches of snow. Winter Storm Warnings were issued for regions near Sherman Pass, Loup Loup Pass, and Washington Pass. The main through fares over the Cascades, Snoqualmie and Stevens Pass, are also going to see some snow today or at least a rain/snow mix.

Sunday's forecast is a bit drier, with mountain showers still likely, but overall less rain, especially near Spokane. Temperatures, by the way, stay in the mid to upper 40s.

Rain is very likely Monday and a chance remains Tuesday of next week. In total, at least a half-inch of rain will fall with closer to 1" possible for most of the Inland Northwest over the next five days combined. That's a very wet stretch of weather.
