Lucas Bottum 2013-2014 season edit

Lucas is 15 years old and has been snowboarding for 6 years but just started riding the park seriously 2 years ago. This season, he only missed 15 days. Lucas is also a snowboard instructor at Alpine Valley Resort in Southern WI. He taught over 70 lessons, ranging from beginner, to advanced carving, and terrain park, this past season.

Lucas just started competing this season. He competed in the Alpine Valley Rail Jam placing 2nd and took 1st place at a rail jam at The Rock on February 28th.

Very cool, Lucas - the head-over-heals flip is my favorite part. Makes me want to try snowboarding, but I know I'd end up in the hospital if I tried any of your moves : )
