Make an optional extension that goes all the way up the battery case. I could see that battery case taking a lot of abuse in gritty wet sand and holding heat in super muddy conditions once mud starts building up on it.

Id like to see this bike get field tested in abusive conditions. I'd feel more confident in a $14k dirtbike if it can be put through the ringer.
