Today I explain why Thought Slime is Wrong and why Ancaps are Anarchists.

Thought Slime is a leftist anarchist who is known in breadtube for falsely accusing Xanderhal of running a cult. In ancap circles his video "debunking" anarcho-capitalism is stumbled upon every so often and it only gets more annoying every time.

I fail to see how saying that economics are the only difference demonstrates a connection to mutualism. For example Tucker was famously anti-natural law. Proudhon didn't have a conception of proportionality and changed his rhetoric to be more reformist beacuse of state persecution, not some moral convictions. Later in his life he went on to advocate for a violent seizure of illegitimate property. The only thing that connects us to them is Josiah Warren's sovereignty of the individual. We don't have to establish some artificial connection to a bunch of socialist anarchists to be a legitimate anarchist movement. We appropiated the term libertarian from the followers of Joseph Déjacque despite it still being in use (SoN is wrong when he claims that they weren't using it) and we can do the same with anarchism. Merely mentioning that Rothbard was inspired by Tucker is enough. Ancap is, first of all, Austrian school taken to its logical conclusion + natural law.

So, how do you establish and maintain the property rights without which capitalism cannot function in the absence of a state?

Property is theft. The needed distinction in terms is private property and personal belongings. Owning a house that you live in to accommodate your need for a roof over your head is not theft. Owning 4 while others have none, giving you the opportunity to exploit their need for survival, makes it a theft. Owning a CNC with 3-10 other manufacturers to produce stuff is not theft. Hoarding 10 CNC machines, forcing this way 30-100 other people "work for you" while you passively receive the "surplus value" to "invest", makes it a theft. It's really not that difficult to grasp.
As to why private property (which is theft and leads to the above that is more or less the basic function of capitalism) is an unjustified hierarchy, first of all, because it's individualistic approach doesn't provide something that can't be achieved through horizontal ownership of the means of production, it therefore has no real gain, while at the same time constantly produces systemically, artificial scarcity, that makes it more difficult for some to cover their basic needs and therefore more susceptible to exploitation from the private owners.
Lastly, a market (a whole bunch of them actually) can exist, without private property.
