Local Legends meets a one of a kind jogger in Kansas City named the Kansas City Superman. Michael Wheeler has been running along the streets for over 45 years. He started wearing the outfit to call attention to the crime that plagued the city. The 69-year-old Wheeler has become a Kansas City icon, promoting goodwill wherever he goes and always happy to stop and pose for photos.

I have respect for this man because of him not attaching the speaker preaching about violence & deaths / negativity about what's going in the world separate from the entity he created with his history, because instead of doing the easy thing and putting on the Superman outfit when he's on the corner. He speaks his words of mind without an easy scape goat to get attention, and I find that inspiring as a good example for this generation.
