Why You Should Read Light Novels

What are light novels? Why are they called light novels? And why should you read them? These are just a few of the questions many people ask me. When it comes to this medium I absolutely adore, I'm willing to work on a video as big as this for my very first real video. And so after a month or so of grinding this one out up until the deadline right before University starts for me, the answers are here in this comprehensive beginner's guide to the world of Light Novels!

I've seen across the internet that many pretentious writers/critics like to complain about the prose style of writing in light novels. Or the internal monologues of many protagonists across Light Novel series. Despite these criticisms I will always love light novels and this video reassures my stance.

Really great analogy on Harry Potter, at least for me. Personally never really liked reading fiction books. HP was the only one I really enjoyed. But not so long ago discovered such ln’s as monogatari and index (mostly because of their anime adaptions) which really got me into it.

I just got into them fairly recently and I really agree. The YA fiction connection is something I've thought about a lot and have tried to use to get some of my anime watching friends to at least try and make the plunge. Gave me some interesting sounding books to check out in the future as well!

I fell in love with LN 2 weeks ago and havent looked bacK! At fist i was aprehensive becuase i didnt have the time so i converted the books into audio novels and listened to them! Finished 26 volumes so far and I am absolutely obsessed with LN. I am on my 3rd series and I am not looking back! Anyways if this turns into a LN channel then you will have a longtime subscriber my friend!

Harry Potter was the only books I was really interested back when I was a child. Reading Index especially NT9 made me an LN lover. Seeing it as the thumbnail and a lot of images of it made me happy.

Today I logged into this account for the first time in literally two years. I opened my watch history to find I had not watched anything on this account since 2018, back when I graduated high school.

A few months ago, I graduated from university summa cum laude. It’s felt like an eternity, and it may as well have been—given the speed at which everything moves these days.

One last thing! - The latest video on the channel is just a rant I made a while back. I know it made some people mad but I stick by what I said. When I first posted it, I ended up privating it because I was afraid the like-dislike ratio would ruin me (lol) but my best friend liked the video so my last act before leaving to focus on school was to make it public again.
