I remember growing up in NYC, up till the early 90’s I could get the Blockbusters (1/4 stick of dynamite) by the case, for $100 on the streets. My guy got them from China Town. I was able to get the M80’s (1/8th stick of dynamite) for about $100 a case. For fun friends, as I overheard😏, would put them in pay phones and blow up 1/2 the phone and all the money would come out. It was hard to find a working pay phone around the 4th of July. When the Patriot Act got signed in you had to know somebody who knew somebody to get them. The Feds were locking guys up for possessing just a couple of them.
