Santa Monica to vote on declaring a homelessness emergency

The City of Santa Monica is considering voting to approve a state of emergency on homelessness in the city, which would free up more funds to help combat homelessness issues.

This country should not have any homeless problems. Or matter of fact, no one should be living on the streets. It's sad to see people, especially families literally living on the streets. This country suppose to be too good for this to happen. Sending homeless people here and there will not solve the problem. Everyone should really give a hand like volunteering to help build facilities for the homeless. For the people who have a roof over their heads, please find a better way to give a hand instead of just saying or letting the upper people handle it their way because it's not working. Homeless can happen to anyone. No matter what your situation is. It's not just the people on drugs. Homeless can happen from a lot of reasons. Just remember that! We're living in different times.
