Having been born in 1949 and having been the drummer of a local band in H.S., I knew all these songs and either have or have had a 45 or an LP of a majority of these songs. At 71 now, my "Man Cave" has my stereo equipment and a drum set. Although my co-ordination is nowhere what it once was, I still enjoy playing to many of the 60's and 70's songs.

Silly story here: I sing the Trashmen’s “Surfing Bird” to my parakeet🦜, & his beak goes up & down fast. “Bird, bird, bird, bird is the word....”

I'm 69 yrs old and I knew all songs, titles and artists but 3... they were heavy metal. lol The 60's was a very diverse decade for music. I'm glad I was there to see it unfold. It has always and will always be my favorite decade for music.

Such waves of nostalgia for those uncomplicated times and memories when I had all my life ahead of me. It's almost painful 😭

1:06 The Sound of Silence is such a great song. It is funny in a meme, but the real song is just too good. I love it.

I aced the song titles but missed a few of the artist names....being 67 yrs old it takes a little longer than 3 sec. to recall some of the artists.

THAT WAS WHAT I CALL MUSIC, - no 'adjustments' & virtually no 'miming', it was a pleasure to listen to it. A friend of mine managed to slide me aboard a groups plane going to Woodstock - I saw it all, even spoke to Janis Joplin & Jimi Hendrix, - I ended up with so many autographs I lost count. - (Don't ask for any please, they're one of the few things I have of my 45yr marriage to my late wife, - yes I met her at Woodstock). I was born in '46 in the UK, & other than that 'trip', only been to Graceland & Sun Records.

I'm 62 and 1 month old. These songs remind me of swimming and the songs blasting at the pools every summer, mother singing, and everyone starting to play music.
