Student Planner Setup: Flip-Thru Of Our School Planner For Distance Learning | Discbound Planner

My son started school this week and I wanted to share his planner setup. This setup is very basic. He uses it for his remote learning schedule and navigating his classes in Google Classroom. And it’s keeping us organized for parent-teacher Zoom meetings, COVID-19 updates, supplies and school emails. And we are going to use it for certain assignments and tracking reading and other learning accomplishments.

We decided on a letter sized discbound planner for a few reasons. 1) I already had the cover from a clearance sale at Staples. 2) We don’t have to trim or cut papers to fit or adjust print settings. We just print, punch and add. 3) Its inexpensive because we can use printables and paper we have. And 4) We can customize and adjust it as we transition to in-person learning or decide to add additional sections or trackers.

This planner will change as we figure out what we need and want as school gets underway. And as we transition from distance learning. But it’s working great so far and he loves it!

Thanks for the ideas. I'm making one for my son to track his homework, reminders and so on now that he's back in school. I printed his school calendar of days off, early release, test dates and so on for his planner. Love the words lists & books to read tip!
