Vordt of the Boreal Valley is the second boss in the game. He is very big and has powerful physical attacks, which is why you should roll away from him rather than using a shield (will break defense in 1 hit). Always try to get behind him or roll under him (works best when you lock on and roll around his left side). Then you can get a few hits in before he jumps away. Halfway through the fight he will get more aggressive and his eyes start to glow. This is when he will dash at you 2-4 times. Make sure you evade those attacks. The same tactic applies all through the fight. Evade, attack and repeat.

Thank you for all your boss uploads. I appreciate that you show your stats and gear instead of rushing in. That said you showed your stats before you faced the boss with the longsword equipped and then switched footage to when you killed it with the broadsword. For all I know you could be using a broadsword +3. Been using your videos to help myself gauge how strong or weak the bosses are so I can prepare for my own no death run.

First phase is easy, second phase isn't that easy for me, when I'm underneath him he does like a belly bash and smashes me with his belly, also as a pyromancer I keep getting frosted.
