Deus Ex Machina is proud to present a short film by Andy Gough - "Black Rain"

The black rain squall rolled overhead. Its downpour came in sideways sheets, turning the clean ocean surface to chatter.
The drops falling heavy pushing deep below the water’s surface, joined by the welcome taste of rainwater. In a matter of minutes the squall had passed and the light offshore returned to groom the empty lineup.
Waves peeling down the rocky coast, leaving nothing but turbulent water, only smoothed in time by the returning black rain.

the same slowmo barrel ride for 6 minutes. This film couldve been great, but it was way too repetitive thanks to the lethargic camerawork and the wave only offering a quick tube. Switch it up next time! could've shown some awesome underwater shots of the wave after he passed the cameraman.
