Horace Slughorn honestly deserves recognition. In this very battle, he took on The Dark Lord himself, and duelled until Voldemort blasted him into a wall. Considering how terrified the professor was of his former student, that’s a huge feat, not to mention very few wizards are powerful enough to duel the Dark Lord face to face.

The saddest thing about this, is that Minerva not only had to see all the bodies of the students who were killed in the battle, but she most likely had the gut wrenching task to telling their parents that their child wouldn't be coming home alive.

McGonagall facing down the attackers by herself and making sure the students make it inside before her just shows how selfless she is.

Arthur Weasley reacting to that death eater and doing so calmly was his coldest moment, it shows that despite the Weasley parents’ jokey, clumsy and laid back empathetic personalities, they become very dangerous when their children and something they love are in danger.

The way Aberforth returns to hogwarts to honour his brothers memory once he discovers the truth of Albus’ grief that he lived with and the fact that he tried to wear the gaunt signet ring in an attempt to plead for forgiveness from their family is heart wrenching.

The way he offers the children aid, an evacuation route, supplies them with food and water, as well as taking the lead of Dumbledores army, as seen with all of the members behind him, while he sends thousands of dementors home without their lunch money, and does so with ease is badass, I truly believe Aberforth was gifted, however he never had the selfish hunger and desire to put the glory of what he could’ve achieved before his family like Albus did.

Love that Harry was immediately alert and fired the first shot at the Death Eater. He may very well have bought those students who were fleeing precious seconds to get away alive.

One of the most beautiful and thrilling War sequence ever. The trio running helter-skelter towards boathouse while synchronizing the attacks between themselves. A minor goosebumps when Harry saves Hermione at the door from one of the death-eater's spell and casting spell back on him... Then coming out and facing huge giant's stroke literally getting saved by going inside the Bell, and then again trying to go beyond the rubbles to face incoming attacking group of Spiders...Ooommphh!!! Literally edge of the seat scene with awesome Background Score!!! Just wish to keep it watching everytime ♥♥ I wish they had such fight sequences more in other parts of movies.
