Si Singapore Hub - Meetup - Systems change with Weiwen Chen.

Our first IRL meetup for the Si Singapore Hub. Since launching at the early part of the pandemic, we have held all of our sessions online. This is the first of our community meetups.

This is the segment from our guest speaker Weiwen Chen.

Weiwen is a changemaker who is driven by creating impact at scale. She has been on both the balcony and dance floor of systems change in her 17 years in the public, private and non-profit sector. From counselling youth offenders, supporting social enterprises, growing the arts industry and negotiating trade agreements, to bringing vision care for the underserved, she has grown to appreciate the complex nature of change in different contexts. Weiwen is founder and CEO of Eyeviser, an eye health startup, and Board Member at aidha, a charity which provides financial and entrepreneurship education to domestic migrant workers.

In this sharing you will hear about her motivations, her journey and some of the challenges she has faced throughout.

The journey is never has one might expect with many obstacles (or challenges) to content with. Being aware and having the support needed for this journey of systems change can help.
