The professionalism of the cameraman and crew must be applauded. I like how they preserved/respected the dignity of the injured by not filming them and making sure that they are slightly out of the shot. This is what responsible journalism looks like! However, as much as we all know how taxi drivers are, the journalist's coverage seemed biased and prejudiced against the taxi driver, yet investigations are still underway. Newsroom has extrajudicialy found him guilty and this footage may be used against him in court.

The journalist's translation is completely incorrect, I'm not xosa speaking, but I understood what the driver said. I think she's reporting having made a judgment already.

The journalist is pushing the taxi driver to admit guilt.

The only thing I like is that he knows he was on the wrong and above all, there were no fatalities.

The journalist needs a translator, poor translation and reporting of what happened.

Translation Sisi is off point. Not what the man has said. He is only accepting that he was on the oncoming. Which many may see as his fault.

Reckless driving, as a nation we need to respect each other as road users and the rules of the road. Public infrastructure is not our backyards. Who is going to pay for all these damages and medical bills. There are consequences to our actions.

South Africans are too used to taxis, trucks and VW Polos causing accidents but no one wants to speak about the new pandemic of Vans/Bakkies/Double Cabs that cause as much problems on the roads.
