What small view of God's Sovereign Providence if a person thinks He is not able to preserve His Holy Word for those who are His.

The problem is RC Sproul depends on Augustine more than Scripture. Total Depravity isn't taught clearly in Scripture and Augustine rejected Total Depravity for 25 years like all the Church Fathers before him until it became personally advantageous to use eisegesis to interpret Scripture according to non Christian philosophers. So, Scripture alone sounds good, but Sproul doesn't follow it. It's called hypocrisy.

It was of little effort for God to maintain His word throughout the generations.
The original text has not changed. Because there are so many copies spread among the ancient world to cross check. Trying to significantly alter it would be futile. That’s why nobody does! It’s actually an unfakeable book.

❤❤ Here’s the big stumbling block ??? Who picked the writings that are the New Testament ???? All 4 gospels are anonymous ! Hebrews are anonymous ! So who picked these books to be the New Testament ??? ❤

How convient. If you just assume your holy book is incorruptible you can ignore how it has been translated and compiled by people for their own reasons.
