The entire point of disposable cameras is too shoot on film. If you're going the digital route, just use your phone.

Its not about the price its about the value you get when you use the film camera its about the process, nostalgic and the sentimental value you have when you use disposable camera itself

for $150 you can buy a working Pentax K1000, non-disposable film camera. I mean, it all depends on what you want.

Disposables are film, yours are digital

It ain’t the camera, it’s the photographer who either makes or breaks the picture

Did you just compare digital camera to a film camera

I think you may have missed the point of point and shoots, it's the look you get from the film which is the appeal. If you don't care then save your money and use your phone.

$15?! Damn I remember when they were like $5

I saw that $6 Kodak disposable camera in the background at 0:02 and with developing for $17 with 27 exposures that is $23, MUCH cheaper than that paper shoot thing. And film photos have much more sentimental value than digital photos.

There not a scam, the problem is price of film is expensive due to material used to make film are more expensive than they used to be and also a lot of other places that develop film are charging developing price higher. There are other places that have developing prices for $8 or some time for $6.

Or, why not learn a few basic things about photography, get an adjustable camera (Kodak Pony 135 can usually be had for under $40, Smena 8M for as little as $20 plus shipping from Ukraine) and take *control* of your photos. You'll still pay $6 to $10 for a roll of film, and about the same for processing as before, but you'll save $20+ on every roll where you don't throw a plastic camera into a landfill (those things were meant to be recycled, but almost no processing labs actually do).

I got great images on a Pony 135 when I got my first one in 1972, at *age 12.* It's not rocket surgery.

And then you can take the next step: shoot black and white film and process your own. Same camera, another $70 or so in equipment and $30-50 for chemicals, and a cut-your-own cardboard adapter to let you use your smartphone to digitize your negatives.

Buy disposable camera (ilford HP5+ for example). Develop yourself your own film. Reload with another 400 ISO film and repeat

You could buy a 1960s rangefinder camera for about $20-40 and buy film and the camera will last decades

So... Instead of getting disposable cameras buy disposable non disposable cameras? I hope I got it wrong

It ain’t the camera, it’s opening it up for the capacitor that you could bulk buy for a fraction of the cost.

Forty bucks for a disposable camera... Or buy a half decent android for forty bucks

Doesn't really replace film, the better bet is to just get into proper film photography by grabbing an old Canon or Minolta 35mm and practicing with some cheap foma black and white film. It's pretty easy to get into developing black and white film at home as well using rodinal stand/semi-stand development.

Or I could just a actual camera, don’t see your argument with the disposal cameras makin any sense
