Growing up i was a punk in southern California and i rem the two diff skin groups would wear diff colored laced. I forget which wore which but one wore white and the other wore red and that is how u knew which was the racists and who wasn't. That was such a long time ago. I miss those days of going to shows and mosh pits.

Back in the day, it was not uncommon to see Baldies and Skins at the same party, drinking, enjoying the same punk music and having fun.

A buddy of mine said a few years ago that Baldies wouldn't fight Skins if they were on common ground which is why I saw what I saw.

Interesting part of the culture that not a lot of people understood took place.

Can confirm. Baldies weren't the only anti-racist skins here. Everyone has grown up and applied their passions to endeavors beyond brawling.
Just because people claim to be from here and have never heard of them doesn’t mean they didn't exist. Some of the dudes were friends of mine. I still have friendships with people who used to be a part of the movement. It was sure as hell not woke. Get out of your bubbles.

You really make the scene seem gigantic. The grandiose nature of this short made me laugh. You could've fit everyone (skins and WS) in the entry with room to spare. Was a cool sub scene for a decade though. Just wasn't gangland warfare; just 16-24 yo getting in fights.
