Man, I love footy. I randomly found this sport playing on the American FS2 channel at midnight, and I instantly took a liking to it.

It might be my favorite sport on a conceptual level. Would love to see a game if I ever visit Australia.

The one rule that I do not understand is improper disposal. Why is the game setup where, the penality is for not getting rid of the ball? Why not have it if be if a player gets tackled it is a automatic turn over, no penality?

Umpires won that game for the dogs with the free kick out of the middle, why not just let them play?

That referee was whistle-happy. He made too many calls, especially against the Lions and especially near the end.

The Lions didn't play very well in the fourth quarter, but they still probably should have won.

Gee it’s boring listening to these so called experts of the game taking about inside 50s and other unnecessary statistics, makes the game so sterile and predictable, boring.
