SWITCH 2 VIDEO WHO WOULD'VE THOUGHT. Today I wanted to talk about why next week would be EVEN BETTER than before now that the PS5 Pro announcement...hasn't gone well.

I don’t think they should announce the Switch 2. Don’t show anything. Don’t even mention the name. Just tweet “$399” and it would just add to the Sony negativity and leave more time to get ready/build Switch 2 Hype.

We know it's coming soon and even if it comes in like November or December it won't change what a golden opportunity they have gift wrapped for them. Both Sony and Microsoft have gone above and beyond to screw themselves over this year, when that announcement comes it'll grab attention instantly. Nintendo's got their priorties straight the most out of the three companies, including not rushing to release their next console. Taking the time to make sure it's done right and their ready to launch with games to sell right away. Bottom line Nintendo's going to make the other two look so bad when that announcement happens.

Yeah if Nintendo drops the next console at $400 it’s actually ggs. Even if we include the base Ps5, this switch 2 is looking to be $100 cheaper and have way more games, just like Sony during the PS4/Xbone era

I think in the long run Sony's going to really regret turning their backs on Japan like that, and I'm willing to bet that Switch 2 will see the full brunt of Square Enix support and not just with their smaller titles. The Switch 2 is going to be a really exciting platform. And yeah, bring on that announcement! Let's go next week 🤞🏾😁

I think this situation could bring disappointment for something Nintendo never promised.
Personally, I enjoy the speculation, but I know how toxic the community will become if we don’t get any announcement.
Also I’m expecting 500$ for switch lol

i expect Astro Bot is going to get a fairly sizeable bump in sales in the months to come. Personally I could get it now, and i'm tempted, but with the few new games released this year that i'm really interested in spending full price on, I usually like to have something new to play during the holidays. Astro Bot is feeling like this game to me, and i imagine theres alot of people who'll be wanting it for their holiday game to.

I also wouldn't discount Resident Evil or Street Fighter. Both have long histories on Nintendo and, if Switch 2 is at least as powerful as a PS4 Pro, it should be easy enough to port them over.

The price of the switch 2 will most likely be 499, at or 449 at best. I do not see them selling it at 399.

Completely agree. PlayStation is finished in Japan. Not only will there be no Japanese exclusive PS5 import scene, but the few remaining Japanese devs with loyalty to PlayStation (like AQUAPLUS, the Utawarerumono creators) must move over to Switch 2 for their console games. They have no choice.

Nintendo isn't going to announce the price at the same time they reveal the trailer. Never in the past 25 years have they announced the retail price alongside a new console. They're not going to break that pattern simply because of another company's decisions.

Why? No developer runs out and starts publicly talking about their work. They only do that when they've got something to sell. That's because it's all just part of marketing. So unless their game is entirely exclusive, there's nothing stopping these companies from advertising their games. And if it is exclusive, Nintendo is going to help you market the hell out of the game.

The silence and patience Nintendo has demonstrated is almost a work of art. Like a friggen banzai tree. It could very well be the most brilliant marketing strategy ever taken. The hype and the almost maniacal demand for information has thrown this next switch console in to the stratosphere. It’s quite profound to be honest. Nintendo is the true king, no matter what console one is a fanboy of. Mario is bigger than Mickey Mouse. Mic drop enough said.
