Dwight was integral to the team bec he allowed for Javel and AD to get rest, sub in during foul trouble or take those hard necessary fouls to slow the game at center position. He provided elite veteran defense and mobility which makes the lakers tough when you already have a solid vet like Javel at the 5 and AD a top 10 player playing C when they go small. The guard position was saturated already with rondo, KCP, Caruso, Green, Waiters so losing Bradley doesn’t take away from our depth the way losing Dwight would have. In fact having Jr makes the Lakers more lethal from 3, which improves their offense bec lakers were in the middle of the league in 3 points made. Having green and Jr on the floor together spacing out the floor more makes it easy for lbj and AD to penetrate drive and kick, isolate on the block and post up. Lakers going all the
