(Video 2) RhinoCAM 2016 & New CNC’s SMART Series CNC was showcased at the The International Woodworking Fair (IWF) in Atlanta. Here we see continuous 4 axis toolpaths finishing a decorative carved table leg. The 4.5” x 32” x 5” stock was first machined using indexed 4 axis roughing toolpaths earlier in in the same setup.

I am looking for CAM software that allow for movement in all 4 axis not just 3. In this job the gantry moves in the Y direction, the spindle in Z direction and the rotary in A plane...so that is just 3 axis movement. Does RhinoCam allow for the gantry to move on the X axis plane as well as the other 3 in one job? I want to be able to use all my axis (A, Z, Y and X) in a single job. Some tasks would be so much faster to complete if that was the case. Thx
