For Wendy, if you have Once Upon a Time in the library, I would recommend trying it with your daughter at some point just for the experience. I bought it for my daughter and grandson about 5 years ago when he was 8 and we had a really wonderful time playing all together. I don't remember who won and we didn't really compete for that so much as tell the story. My strongest memory is being so proud of my grandson for his creativity particularly when describing the rescue of characters from a dungeon. It was fun and encouraged him to use his imagination with the cards as prompts. YMMV, of course, but I have a very special place in my heart with my grandson and Once Upon a Time.

My issue with Blood on the Clocktower is the cost doesn’t seem worth it. I can buy The Resistance with all the expansions for a fraction of the price. The game might not be as good but I feel like I’ll have just as much fun

D. I use the insert until I need space, then I make an insert or use bags or some combination. Sometimes I even just cut out part of the old insert to make space.

I liked the first Shazam so mostly agree on that discussion, and excited to see this one regardless of it’s future in the DC films. I did already watch the DC Animation movie of Batman-Doom, the HP Lovecraft inspired story from the comics, and loved it. I’m so glad Gunn is keeping these quirky Elseworld stories as I love the riffing on canon stories/characters. I would love it if Marvel create more content similar to What-If/ DC Elseworlds.

1W1Q: I prefer to use the base game insert whenever possible, the only time I don't is if the insert doesn't allow room for expansions, Ex: Dominion or Unlock

Once Upon a Time is a very good time. I think all players need to really not want to win and just tell a funny story. I once played this game with a couple magic players and it was very fun. It's more of an activity than a game, even though their technically is a winner. But, the game depends on people not caring about the game and just have a good time.
