Hello sir. Thank you for the lecture. Very informative and easy to follow. I had a doubt in the georeferencing process. Longitudes basically run vertically and latitudes run horizontally. While entering the GCP values we entered longitude value in X and latitude value in Y. So my question is are 'X' and 'Y' used as alphabetical representations for the two values or are they the 'X axis' and 'Y axis'? Also, it is written East beside X and North beside Y. The nomenclature is a bit confusing. Kindly explain.
