I will be discussing bags, flashlights, knives, multitools, pen, wallets, key organizers, pry tools, functional clothing, watches, electronics, and much more. Because I also love to modify these items, there will be videos on tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, scissor, wrenches, and power tools.

A lockpick set with basic picks and tension wrench, would be a sweet go to for a system like this.

I love Maxlvledc because there’s never any bias in the videos.

Ordered the brass and Ti Neo Pen. So damn excited for them!!!! I’ve got almost everything Silver Fox has made and everything is such high quality and beautifully made and ages perfectly.

I absolutely love the e1. It is everything I need an edc tool. I agree with you that the knife is pretty lame but it works for packages, sharpening pencils, or other light duty tasks. The craft knife is great for so much. I love that it has the ability to change bits for multiple uses. The scraper can opener works well as a scraper and light duty pry. It also functions well as a package opener. The scissor is amazing! Maybe better than victorinox due to its large size. They almost function as real scissors. My only complaint is the crappy file. This is a real bummer to me because I find a good file very useful for edc. I use the file on all of my leathermans constantly! I hope they fix this and it would make the e1 almost perfect for my edc needs.

That belt system is hugely underutilized. Thanks for sharing that, it's definitely something to keep an eye on.

Makes me think utility belt systems should be way more popular than they are.

Love that Outdoor Edge. Thanks for profiling it. Nextool Flat Bits + HF Gordon = winner winner chicken dinner. FWIW 711L is about to release a flat bit in line ratchet. Genius, given the pent up demand for the Leatherman ratchet.

The NexTool E1 is so good for EDC in the UK where carrying a locking blade is illegal. It's always frustrating to see all these cool tools reviewed but then they have a locking blade so anyone in the UK would be limited to keeping it around the house only.

It's also a bit less 'scary looking' than many knives or multitools, which can be a factor if you want to use it in a job that's public-facing without spooking the punters, or if you're worried someone will call the cops on you if they see a "scary knife" being used out in public.

That belt looks really nice. They should do a collab with a backpack or crossbody sling company and add this to the straps. Also, great video.

I bought the E1. I love the Xacto blade on it. Handy. I wish more of these tools had that feature.

All that said. I still ended up with a K2SE. Because it simply is the better piece of kit overall. I just really miss the Xacto blade.

personally love the e1, work in hotels so pulling out the charge can be a bit intimidating for everyday tasks, but everyone says im inspector gadget with my little "fold out scissors" I don't even consider the knife when using it.

Love these videos where you cover a wide variety of stuff. Belt is super cool, I have no use case for it but want it so bad lol, and the Outdoor Edge Utilipro ticks a lot of boxes including price. The Nextool I'm really close to liking, hopefully a future version improves the knife and file. Earthling EDC did a cool video on that Nextool E1 about a month ago where with a few modifications he really gets a lot of out it, worth a watch

I carry one of those small OTF scalpels. My most-used knife for 15+ years has been a folding utility knife of some description. My most common cutting task for a carry knife is cutting paper and tape (food prep is for kitchen knives). So a sturdy blade is usually unnecessary for me. Only the occasional cable tie requires a stronger blade... otherwise I use the proper tool. Wire cutters, pry bars, screwdrivers, chisels, etc. In my world, if you need a stronger knife, you probably shouldn't be using a knife. I long ago switched to a scalpel at my desk for office tasks, so when I found these mini OTFs a few months ago, it was an easy transition. They're so much more convenient than even my custom modded mini utility knives.

Nextool e1 is nice!
Pair it with a standard multitool and expand the versatility of a system.
It offers some versatility to your utility.😊

I like the items I keep in my WAZOO belt. If Fix Manufacturing could do a calibration with Wazoo (have their buckle fit on a Wazoo belt), I’m all in!!

Nextool has almost perfect selection of tools for that small format, imo. It's just missing an awl and a locking knife. Also I believe there is a huge missed opportunity with flat bits - there should be a way to store 2 or 3 additional bits in the tool.

Fix needs to make an in line holster for those tools so you can carry more than one in the buckle and we'd really have a batman belt. I could easily see it having a slimmer profile than the buckle.
