I live in the blackforest in germany, and i have been wanting to get to know the trees around me. I think this was the push i needed to go on a walk and explore.

“Your backyard is amazing, and it’s worth getting to know.”

Those are legendary words if I ever saw them.

My Dad grew up in the countryside and instilled in us the love for trees. He planted a tree for each of his kids after they were born. He said it's our reaponsibility to learn every tree there is at home because they give us more than shade and view.

This made me breathe deep and realize without the internet and social media I’d never know what type of tree I was grabbing to catch my breath on hikes. I gotta get better aquatinted with nature.

When I say “I love this human”, I mean that I am grateful to be so immediately moved by his facility to share about his relationship with trees, exploring the character of the unique artist in each of them and his willingness and inspiration to create rich personal meaning from those relationships and exploration.

Artists and art DO come in all shapes and sizes and every time I am reminded of this, I am moved to tears with gratitude. Thank you for this offering 🥰

Wow.... Just pure poetry, man. Your voice is so gentle and warm. I could easily see you narrating a novel or "walking simulator" type video game.

I had a tree growing up that I loved, I actually cried when I was 24 and they had cut it off and just left the trunk and some stumps.
I'd happily get some of it and send it to this guy if he could identify it so I could grow my own in its honor, I still miss that tree and I'm just glad everytime I pass there's still something of it left.

Wise words. I love your connection with the trees you work with. You get to know them before creating your art, it shows how much you care. Like finding a rough gem, one polishes it to make it shine.

I discovered your channel earlier this week and immediately watched everything you’ve posted. I’ve never been particularly interested in trees, but I’m fascinated by everything you say and I am super excited to learn more!! I love everything about your videos, the educational value, your voice, the beautiful things you create, the food, the beautiful landscapes, it’s all amazing! Keep up the good work, I can’t wait to see more

I've never been into trees, I've been depressed since COVID started, seeing your videos makes me want to go outside, and look at the own trees in my hometown. Your voice is calm, please never stop these short, but massively inspirational videos.

My dad is a tree surgeon and this just made me understand him a little bit more. Whenever we go on a walk he keeps going on and on about whatever trees and anomalies he's seeing, or how sad it is most trees won't survive climate change in my area because they are already dying in the hot summers and mild winters and it makes me proud to say I know more than most of my peers when it comes to trees. Thanks dad
