I dig how the Bolt looks. It looks like the cool shape of the BMW and super functional dimensions. I’d be happy to make this my first new Chevy.

"When I finally parked it(Bolt) at my home charging station, it had gone 322 miles on a single charge. Not bad for a car rated at 238 miles per charge. Even more impressive was the fact that I didn't really try very hard to get that many miles out of it. I spent plenty of time in traffic, which helped, but there were a few sections that I was moving along at 65-70 mph as well. No matter how you look at it, 322 miles out of a Bolt is pretty impressive." — Ed Hellwig Edmund's

If Jordan Peele recommends this car, I am here for it.

Good review. Note that for the time being, as of Jan 1st 2023, due to the Inflation Reduction Act, the Bolt qualifies for the $7500 Tax Credit again. Also the MSRP price has dropped nearly $6000!

After driving and doing a competitive analysis on our use case we bought a 2023 Bolt EV. Thanks for your very thorough and balanced review.

Love to have a Model 3, but price increases and current wait time of nearly a year, I'll have a look in the Spring and see where things stand for the Bolt.

I'm excited for the Bolt series. Getting the Bolt EUV and can't wait. Test drove it and was really impressed. Seems like most of the EV cars are big and large which I didn't want. Bolt fits nicely as a sub compact. The Tesla is becoming very dated compared to the others out there and over priced. Looks like GM is getting their EV strategy right.

Gr8 car. I have 2017. Chevy giving me new battery pack with more range. I got this off lease with 42, 000 miles. Couldn’t be happier. I don’t care about taillights. 😃

Many people confused about Sport Mode. It does not in any way give you more power. It simply changes the sensitivity of the gas pedal to bring on more power earlier. In other words? You will go 0-60mph in the exact same time with Sport Mode Off or On.

I have a 2018 Bolt, and it has the regen paddle and sport mode; the video makes it sound like both options are new on the 2022 model.

Also, I use the regen paddle even when using one-peddle/Low drive mode. The paddle provides a more aggressive regen, and slows the car more than just the one-peddle. I like having the option of using either/both.

We had a 2017 Bolt and loved it, but decided to go with a Tesla Y. We've only had the Tesla for a short time, but we've already sold and now have a 2022 Bolt on order. The Bolt runs so much smoothly and has many safety features that are absent on a Tesla.

I have a 2021 bolt and I love it! A lot of people stay away from them because of the few bolts that caught on fire but they do have an update that disables charging to 100% so maximum charging is 85% to prevent the risk of a fire until you get the modules repaired but it’s going to be a while till mine is fixed because they’re currently working on 2017-2019 models. I don’t mind the wait though

Picking up a 2022 Bolt Ev. It was a no brainer. 8k less from last years 2021 Chevy Bolt. Then another 8k off with Prov and Fed tax incentive, plus free level 2 charging installation, and since I work for a certain company I get Employers price. This is Canadian pricing of course. With all of this going for the 2022 Bolt you can actually make your money back by saving on fuel. All other EVs as of today are still over priced and will never make up for Fuel.

I have the 2021 Bolt EV Premium & luv it. Wish it had Adaptive Cruise Control w/active braking but it does not. GM did the battery exchange w/66kw pack. As a city car with conservative to sporty driving I am getting 5.9 kw/mi. Full charge show 369mi range. I do not use heat or A/C unless I am carrying passengers. Very capable car.

Other than the recall, I LOVE my Bolt EV, and SO looking forward to my 22 swap replacement...

I like the new taillights. They give the rear a cleaner look and go nicely with the revised front end.

i have the 2020 bolt. its a great ev for the price. i dont think anything else comes close for the price. the bolt should at least be on your test drive list before you buy an ev.

The 2025 Bolt is on the way and is going to feature some important upgrades. The Bolt had been officially discontinued for a few months, and then I suppose Chevy realized that people actually really like this car, so they have announced they are going to continue making them.

Nice video! The new 2023 Chevrolet Bolt is now the cheapest EV in America! The Bolt is a quality EV with great range and offered at a great price. 🚗 ⚡️
