The official word from Alex is that he is shooting for his sorta-labelmate's (Ardent via Stax) Eddie Floyd version ...

And of course, Alex recorded a bitchin' version which opened his record "Set" ("Loose Shoes and Tight Pussy") ...

And you couldn't be more right, Alex tearing it up with Fanclub ::: it's like a dream come true!
