losing Heath is not worth any job.
Once the leader/menager of my student exchange told me, “you are ok, it’s not that bad -because he didn’t want to lose time on taking me to hospital” I didn’t listen, I demanded them to drive me there ASAP. I almost lost my life, doctors said…I had severe lung infection. Always, always listen to yourself and your needs..don’t risk your life over anything. They are just saying what’s comfortable for them, but you have to be responsible for how you feel ! :)

This is how they treat the customer facing staff. Imagine how they treat the cleaners, the waste collectors, the construction staff.

I resigned from Emirates
20 YEARS ago and nothing has changed.

Thanks for the insight of how Emirates treat staff. It seems incredible that there are still so many people that would want to work with them.

My mate pilot had apendicitis, he sued Emirates because they told him to call supervisor and captain, while he was almost dying.

It's very bold of you to put all the negative points. And I am glad you gave a heads up. I have an interview and now I am getting second thoughts lol.

That's why I don't get it when people say, oh they want to be flight attendants so they can travel.
Lol... it sounds like non-stop flying instead.

I worked in Dubai, including in an Emirates company. Day one I was told by management that my boss was abusive but was leaving. She was abusive. I refused to be victimized and lost the job. Dubai is a dog-eat-dog environment.

Working as cabin crew is a tough industry, especially with long haul flight companies like Emirates compared to just domestic and short flights. I find just being a passenger on long haul flights exhausting, so I could never imagine working on those long 8 hours + flights for a living.

Ex-crew here, everything you mentioned is accurate! The managers are forreal kinda evil ngl and no one from the outside completely blinded in rose-colored glasses will choose to believe that. Don't let the trolls discourage you, you have every right to be angry at the distress ek puts us through. Anyway! Loved this video. Would love to encourage you to keep making content that makes you happy, be it ek tea or something else! I'm always curious to know how other crew changed their perception of dubai overtime.

I quit emirates a year ago. You somehow really remind me nice and sweet kind of csv, that I used to work work with. I’m happy for you taking this decision☺️ Everything you said is true unfortunately, my manager was terrible too

Thank you for sharing these, especially the minus points. They're absolutely helpful for the Emirates wannabes.

The more I hear, the more Emirates sounds like a company that cares about image, image to the customer AND. The employees. But also is from a place that gets applicants from the world over! So the standards must be uniform to get someone from Turkey and another from Singapore and have them value and do the job the same. And when you aren't meeting that standard, you are let go. Period. No questions asked! And when you get someone from say eastern Europe that comes from pretty much nothing and then they are moved across the world and placed with a bunch of other people from other places doing other things... It's gotta be a mess!!
