Hey Benjie, I’ve been having problems surf fishing, I got the carolina rig down, but my bigger rods with fish finder rigs and 3-5oz weights keep getting pushed by the current and waves, making it hard for my bait to sit still out there, any advice?

Thank you. Is this comparable to the Daiwa Fuego? Also, about to get into surf fishing and just want to confirm that barbed hooks are a no-no in California. Do you flatten out the barbs on your Lucky Craft lures?

I only buy cheap reels for surf fishing. Never had a problem.
