Did you notice that the display orientation in the product photos are opposite to what it actually is? Is there a setting to swap the orientation?
2. I've also noticed that Ledger Live identifies this as a "Ledger Nano S" on the desktop. On the device itself, it is named correctly as "Nano X".
3. Ledger Live occasionally crashes and closes by itself.
4. In some cases where wired usage is not working, you may need to enable the USB option under experimental features in settings.
5. If your cable is connected, you cannot power off the device. The display will remain turned on for the entire duration of charging.
6. The buttons can get a bit "sticky" at times, and is not even. A nicer click would have made this more premium.
7. You can use both the Nano S and Nano X at the same time. Just use the 24-word passphrase from the Nano S when initializing the Nano X.
8. It seems like you can use the Nano X on 2 machines simulaneously, one wired and one on bluetooth.
9. Side note: You can use the Nano S with Android Ledger mobile using an OTG adapter.

I guess the apps on the device are used to digitally create and sign the proposed transactions on whatever blockchain you are interfacing with through their wallet app. So, their wallet functionality is distributed between the software on the iPhone or desktop computer, and the Ledger device. One can't function without the other. Since private keys are stored in silicon, they survive without power. And, you can still remove apps from the device without deleting private keys. Very cool. Mine is on the way!

I've been holding my Crypto on a couple exchanges for 8 years and wanted to look into a hardware wallet. How do you guys manage to do it while not spending a fortune on transaction (miner) fees? At the moment it looks like it costs anywhere from $7 to $26 to transfer bitcoin. Litecoin is a little easier I've paid as little as 3 cents in transaction fees.
