If you read these comments... give Chrono the same love you gave the upcoming remake of Super Mario RPG.

Your loyal fans for decades have waited for these characters to return.

You could do the remake similar to FFVII remake which is a similar story but in a different timeline, and then do an actual sequel incorporating Chrono Chross to make it an official trilogy.

I loved I am Setsuna, Lost Sphear, Adventures of Mana, Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy VI. Please consider a remake for Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross please!

What was everyone’s first experience either playing through, or seeing Chrono Trigger for the first time?

Mine was sometime in 1998, I was at one of my Aunts House, and a relative I was close to had a copy of it, and I was mesmerized watching him play through it the funny story to him picking up is rather comical too, one of his babysitters, other children left his copy at her house after he moved. The first time that I owned a hardcopy was the Final Fantasy:Chronicles release (Which everyone knows is notorious for its cumbersome load times) and I first beat it when i was 14 - Years old.

No SE, you got it wrong. You had to use the Nearest Neighbor filter, not the HQx. Also you forgot to change the font, and get rid of the smartphone buttons.
Delete this and fix it, we love Chrono Trigger, but this is an offense.

To those passing by and reading all the negative comments, this port was MASSIVELY fixed through the years of its existence.
They allow you to toggle the pixel-meld "HD" filter off.
They fixed the issue with save points.
They made the game more keyboard friendly.
The cutscenes are the most clean versions.
They re-added the DS content (except for the Arena of Ages, but who cared about that?)

This is not the best way to play the game, but it's not the worst. If you have no other alternative, this port is fine enough, but I recommend the DS version above all else.
