Baer plays Shattered Planet, a roguelike survival-exploration RPG by Kitfox games. The Blight has run rampant over Earth and it's up to our clone army to find a cure for the devastating disease. We'll make cool discoveries and kill a bunch of harmless critters. Good fun!

You could call it a roguelike, or a survival-exploration RPG on an endlessly dangerous planet. If you bring along the helmet that gives you electric absorb you can use the orb enemies in the robot area to get free health. Handy for the signal.

Stop wasting crystals on pets, and instead use them on getting 5 star items and DNA extractor guns that you can use to get pets for significantly cheaper.

Its definitely difficult first time through, what I found useful was to get a heat resist helmet which drastically reduces the damage dealt by the turrets which are by far the biggest issue due to them blocking everywhere, then I brought a slicer and a zap gun to use on it as a heal.

The other option would be to look for a sharp resistance helmet as thats the primary damage type of the enemy slicers (the other main issue).

Weapon-wise I actually did best with a circuit breaker that allowed me to break the metal boxes but its quite rare, generally avoid elemental weapons as electricity, chemical and heat are all bad against robots, the vertebrum est is pretty good other than the fact the final level sort of screws you over if you don't check the items you pick up quick enough.

If you want a cheeky way to try the Very Hard missions, maybe roll with the Exile and just hop off ledges until the regen bonus is up?

crystaline ally pet was immune to everything in the signal so it heals other animals but they do no damage to it
