Circumference of the circle or perimeter of the circle is the measurement of the boundary across any two-dimensional circular shape including circle. Whereas the area of circle, defines the region occupied by it.

I wish I was taught like this when I was in school. We were just told to memorize the formula of circumference, never told where does this formula come from. Nice video.

another way of visualizing the ratio intuitively is to show that three circles fit in the length of the circunference (with the remainder of .14)... and no matter how big or small the circle is, it is obvious that the diameter will grow proportionally to the circunference.

i have tihs question The diameter of a wheel of a cycle is 70 cm. It moves slowly along a
road. How far will it go in 24 complete revolutions? so i should consider the pi 3.14 or 22/7

Question: if in the derivation of area of circle we split the circle and make a rectangle/parallelogram, there is length as pi*r and breadth is r and we get side x side= pi*r*r. But if using the same shape we do perimeter of rectangle which is 2(side+side) it yields 2(pi*r+r) which implies Please really confused!!!!
