Показать описание
Tata Motors officially launched the much-awaited new Tiago NRG in India at the starting price of Rs. 6.57 lakh for the manual variant and Rs. 7.09 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom) for the AMT. The NRG variant was available on the pre-facelift model of Tiago and it comes with minor exterior tweaks to give a rugged look for the hatchback. Some of the changes on the new model include an updated front bumper with black claddings and a faux skid plate at the front and rear. The company has also added black plastic cladding across the body.
The ground clearance of regular Tiago is 170 mm while the NRG variant comes with 181 mm, which is good enough to take it out for minor off-roading. Apart from this, the NRG variant gets 15-inch steel wheels with an alloy wheel like the cover to further enhance the look. The Tiago NRG is offered in four exciting colour combinations – Foresta Green, Fire Red, Snow White, Cloudy Grey. Tata Motors has also added a roof rail on the NRG variant and it is expected to be a functional one rather than just there for the looks.
According to Tata Motors, the engineers have re-tuned the suspensions to absorb bumps more and to counter the increased ground clearance. The interior is carried over from the regular model but it is finished in charcoal black colour for a sporty feel. The NRG variant comes with a 7-inch touch screen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth and an 8-speaker Harman sourced audio system. The hatchback also gets a reverse camera with parking sensors, push-button start and auto-folding mirrors.
Tata Tiago is powered by the same 1.2 L petrol engine from the earlier model as it produces 84 PS of power at 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 3,300 rpm. This engine is mated to 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options. The deliveries of Tiago NRG will begin from today and it is expected to increases the sales of the hatchback. The Tiago is one of the best selling models of Tata Motors as it changed the fortunes of the company back in 2016. To keep up the positive momentum, Dark Edition is now also available on Nexon and Altroz.
