Introduction

Wildlife explorers and hobbyists have different requirements when it comes to choosing a trail camera. For one, portability and concealment is an essential requirement for a trail camera as you wouldn’t want to disturb the animals. When I was on the hunt for a trail camera, the one thing I needed was a product that was both portable and well-concealed as well as easy to use. Vikeri A1 Trail Camera seems to fulfill these requirements and more, and I was sold on it from the first look.

mine got all wet after first rain, even inside of the screen....check and all rubber sealant gasket around was OK, unit was latched and all

Anyone know how to change the trigger delay settings on these? It says it's from .2-.5 but there's no menu option to change said delay.

Another note I found was in the "Manual for beginners" pamphlet it mentioned not to use rechargeable batts . Only use alkaline 1.5 v would work. I haven't done any research but my other three all mention lithium and I use them and are all rechargeable with no problem but I'll look into this more.

How do I reset the password for this camera ?

I just got this camera and was looking for reviews and best settings etc and started watching yous. Made me laugh out loud when yo mentioned the plastic film on the lens. I have three other cameras I've accumulated the last couple of year and always look for taking the plastic tabs and bags etc off.It was a while before I noticed that very plastic over the lens. Never on any of my others. Made me look and scratch to see if I missed that on the others Didn't for figuring out the settings.

I put in a password, and when I turned it on 5 minutes later, it said "wrong password" is there a reset option?

What he needed to say was when you press the menu you need to click on ok to change the setting of each category

Thank you for the clarification... Too bad whoever put the manual together couldn't find it in their heart to clear up the 4 battery directions (with 8 battery slots)!!!! I mean SHEESH! How hard is it to proof read a manual??? LOL- Yikes.

This Camera works OK and takes good pics. However it has a "lifetime warranty" that the company (Vikeri) absolutely will not honor. They wont even acknowledge the warranty registration. I had one that leaked internally so everything was fogged over. Rendered the camera useless.
