Session #58: Add Items to a Shopping Card with Repeaters

In this session we'll continue on repeater functionality and revisit some of the shopping cart features we worked on before. Specifically, we will be adding product information to a shopping cart by passing image, name and price values from one repeater to another. This is one of the more advanced tricks that requires previous repeater experience.

Great tutorial but still I cannot find the episode with counting the basket - I mean how to count the total sum based on repeater - adding values of eg. aforementioned shopping cart? - which function is appropriate to add values from one column in repeater data? Thank you in advance for the answer.

Thank you for the tutorial! But, could you help me? I'm having a trouble with the default value of Number of products. Whenever i try to preview and add an item to the basket, the number become 3. When i checked the global variables, the default value keeps changing even though I've changed it to 0.

Hi, Super this tutorial only one problem. The totals the end of the shopping cart is not updated. I need to lodge my assignment within 2 weeks so I need urgently help how to fixed this. I tried to use global variable like the previous episode, but won`t work. What is the maths that we need to apply that the totals will update. Do I need to use local variable or global variable. many thanks.

Can you make the items in the cart update quantity instead of creating a new line with the same product?
I tried but had some problems because of the distinction between creating a new row and updating one...

You had mentioned about showing how to remove the first row in the cart "Select a product" but never showed how. To me, select a product does not belong in the cart so I would really like to know how to not show the first row.
