GER main goal is to protect giorno. It was not a direct hit for him and being how all living people transferred to the new universe, he was safe

I dont believe that is the case. We see GER break out of its shell, evolving. De arrow might have left giorno but that dont mean ger is lost. Silver chariot was still requiem after losing the arrow.

Id guess is that rtz only works on harm/intent to harm. Since the time acceleration wasnt a harmful thing if you didnt get in harms way GER would have no reason to activate.

Or a more understandable explanation might just be araki couldnt use GER since that would make the ending not happening at all.

Araki said that GER was more of an evolution of GE this along with Trish’s statement that “the arrow has chosen Giorno, it belongs to him forever” leads me to believe that GER is permanent

I think it has to do with the fact that time acceleration wouldn't have harmed giorno, meaning GER would have no need to be active as long as giorno is not harmed, it won't need to trigger its ability

Even if he did, there's so little info on GER, we can't know if its possible for him to stop it. The only time RTZ activates is when there a direct, dangerous, and immenent attack on giorno, which time acceleration does not meet the criteria of.

My guess is it didn’t interfere with Giorno’s will, or any of his goals, so his ability didn’t activate. Since all GER does is ensure Giorno reaches his truth, Made in Heaven just made it so he reached his goal faster if you think about it, or (after reading some comments) it only saved him from it.

I think he still had it but according to the games (great source I know) Giorno can cancel out Time accel but only for him self, it allows him to keep up with Pucci sure but doesn’t stop TA so during mih, Giorno was most likely confused on why everyone was moving slower and slower to the point where it had almost seem like time was stopped, then the reset happens and he’s back just like that, it can also be assumed that there were no stand users to help him during this as araki hints he was looking for Pucci in Florida because of the dio children being drawn to Pucci by gravity

There is no way Giorno wouldve thrown the arrow away, as its one of the strongest items in JoJos history, only surpassed by the corpse parts of the other universe.

I feel like its also very unlikely that GER just disappeared after part 5, since in part 4 Kiras Bites The Dust also didnt need a arrow to remain in his/his stands body.

It could be that part 6 is an alternative universe/death of diavolo/or PT 5 was a AU because silver chariot stayed requiem after losing the arrow and we don't have other proof of GER returning to ge(one point I forgot to mention is that the arrow climbed up her's arm making it a part of the stand)

JOJOVELLER states the arrow’s power (Requiem) is completely under his control meaning he doesn’t lose GER so the reason why he couldn’t stop the universe reset is something else

Ok so my theory is,

Made in Heaven is technically an Over Heaven Stand

and OH Stands (as seen in the game) Can basically negate requiem abilities.

So since Pucci was technically using a OH Stand, Giorno couldn't stop what he was doing.
(Because remember GER is a sentient stand, and probably knew that the uni reset was happening)

Probably because, the end of time is a natural thing not a attack or some sort.

It's kinda like death of old age or smth, giorno prolly can't stop that, same thing with time ending, it's just natural.

Incorrect, GER’s main focus is protecting its user, Girono. the universal reset wasnt targetting him, and it wouldnt put girono in harm if he was still alive cause he would just go to the new universe, so GER would not activate at all to protect girono, only if something came at him or something would GER appear.

Counter point the stand doesn’t need to have the arrow imbedded into it it can become pierced and still be a requiem stand.
