I use to live not far from The Dog house when it first opened and remember how it was then! I always like seeing Bullies like Buddy being adopted as they are such loving dogs and devoted to their owners. Now I have a Frenchie and they are totally babies !!!!

I lost my best friend Zeus on Christmas Day. He was a olde English bulldogge. He was my world. He saved my life as I was dealing with suicide. His passing shattered me even more. I waited a month… but couldn’t handle the silence. I found a beautiful female Bully (just like buddy!). She’s the most gentle caring babe. She knows I’ve been through hell and she’s been through hell herself. She was a breeding mom and the breeder kicked her out on the side of the road after the first litter was born. She was stripped of her family, her kids, her safety and her love. 4 months together now and we are happy and inseparable. She’s my full time service dog (I’m autistic) and she’s a dream. I miss my boy, but rescuing her has helped heal my heart. Please stop rescuing all the toys and designer looking dogs, rescue the big ones too! They are gentler and way more caring than toys (I’ve worked in k9 industry as handler, trainer and protection). I’ve had my hands mauled by toys, but never by a big dog. People are too quick to judge. Open your heart

Im so shovked with the story of the second couple. I hate mocking people for who they are, but to try and push someone in front of a teain is just mad...
I love how accepting they are of the dog even when they had a little conflict in the beginning. It shows such good character imo
