US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara to discuss the fighting of rebel forces backed by Turkey against Kurdish forces, which is threatening to destabilize northern Syria. Turkey says the objective is to clear the area of "terrorism."
The US and Turkey support rival groups in the conflict. A Turkish-backed militia has been fighting a Kurdish-led force that Ankara says are terrorists. But the US regards the Syrian Kurds as allies, especially as a bulwark against the power vacuum left by the fall of Basher al-Assad.

If sdf is just a "kurdish group" then israel is attacking a "lebanese group".
USA waged war against an "afghan group". How does that sound?

I didn't understand. This is between US and Turkey. Why is Israel's Foreign Minister having a meeting with Erdogan?

"Turkish-backed forces"... no, they are local people of Syria.
Please use "US-backed forces" instead of Kurds as well!

The main problem is not the clash between them, the main problem is US have been supporting terrorists who killed thousands of Turkish citizens.the ones who choose terrorists organization's side over a fellow NATO member started to realize that they made a mistake except Germany.

Turkey is not fighting Kurds but terrorists; PKK/YPG. There is a big difference. Turkey wish that all different minorities including Kurds, will be represented in the new government and a neigborhood free of terrorism, thats all.

Which country Blinken represents? I am sometimes doubting if it is still us.

Erdogan would rather have anarchy in Syria than for the Kurds to have autonomy in Syria.

Kurds are people of the mountains, never had a state of their own....they lived with Arabs, but Britain gave them the notion of Independent state to sow the seeds of discord, Now Germany also falls on those
Germany is crumbling Economically, why is that?

Kurds are Iranian people, the language they speak is Iranian. Turks, Arabs and Iranians live together in Iran, Turkey, Iraq and Syria, there has never been a state called Kurdistan in history. If borders are to be determined according to ethnicity in this geography, it would be Arab, Turk and Iranian, which is physically impossible.
