Why 'A' Students Work For 'C' Students - Robert Kiyosaki

For most people, fear of failure holds them back. Teachers use this fear of failure to motivate people in school. “If you don’t study hard, you won’t get a good job.” Bosses use it to motivate you to work hard. “If you don’t work long hours, you’ll be fired.” For many, fear is a prison that holds them back from their potential.

In order to change your mindset, you must change your environment. The same is true for anyone who wishes to become rich.

If you want to be an entrepreneur, start hanging out with entrepreneurs. If you want to be an investor, start hanging out with investors. As you change your environment, you’ll see your mind begin to change as well.

This is a choice, and it’s not an easy one. The easy choice is to continue doing what you’re already doing. The hard choice is to begin the process of changing your mindset—the process of choosing to be rich.

This starts with increasing your financial intelligence through financial education through books, seminars, and coaches. Through these endeavors, you’ll find people who will help you change your mindset. And as you change your mindset, you’ll find it easier and easier to control your subconscious and overcome your fear.

You go to school, you’re taught a lesson and then you’re given a test. In life, you’re given a test that teaches you a lesson

Well this is a fat no.

The real reason is probability and distribution. "A" students are likely to be employed and be paid well from a good company. They are less likely to start their own company as a result (take risks).

The C students must survive on their own and thus they have much higher chance of starting their own business (situation where they must risk). The reality is 95% of businesses fail. However, 5% will succeed and thrive (winner takes all economic system). They will employ "A" students. What you don't see is the 95% failed C students.

Survivorship bias is one of the most common logic errors people make.

In school there's only one right answer. And in life they are many right answers.

C students know that you dont need to be the best to succeed. You just need to hit the right notes and everything follows suit

I was a C student in all subjects except math (A student in math) I struggled with English class the most in high school. Was average in college. I now work at a corporate level making $250k a year. It's all about making smart decisions. Grades don't mean anything, it just gets you to graduate. It's how you apply yourself in the real world.

Reading RICH DAD POOR DAD changed my life financially. I was an “A student” in school, but didn’t know how to achieve higher levels of financial success until that book. NOW I’m a successful investor and business owner and when people ask me where to start, I don’t point them to school, I point them to that book. 👍🏻

This isn't exactly 100% true. I'm an "A" student because I persevere and work hard. I don't believe that grades determines intelligence, but I WANT to do my best in everything that I do.

Just keep working hard, don't be closed minded, don't quit, and you'll be successful. Might not get an "A" every time, but just know that you tried your best and that's what counts.

A student, C student, whoever they are, they worked their asses off to get where they are.

This comment section is basically:
A students: using statistics to prove that he's factually wrong
C students: haha funny joke a brain fail
A: No! you can't just think that you're gonna do well, 95% of you guys fail!
C: hahah failure isn't a threat if you're already a failure

This information is golden ! Schools don’t teach any fundamentals of finance and money. It’s really sad, but I’m glad I learned at an age of 15 years old.

I was in learning disability. Because I went to school in Los Angeles inner City. Teachers were there just for a paycheck. Now I own my own business

It’s true. A students end up working for C students when the C students have rich dads
