For anyone who wanna know why Mitsuri said poison potato, here's my interpretation(?): I think it's also a lame pun/joke attempt from Mitsuri.

Tanjiro was asking "How do you do it?" and in Japan it's "Dou yatte?" but it can simply shortened to "Dou?" or "How?"

She responded with "Poison potato" a.k.a. "Doku jagaimo"

Basically it's

"Dou?"

"Do(u)ku jagaimo~~"
