I can't even begin to tell you how many times I have avoided watching this video since you passed. It hurt my soul too much to see your face, hear your voice, and not be able to pick up the phone and call you. But today I watched and without fail, I cried. It was a mixture of sad and happy tears. I hope you know there was no one in the world I enjoyed performing onstage more than you. We always had the best chemistry and the little ways we would be insync onstage; so locked in, completely in unison. I felt safe onstage, and I knew how much you respected my artistry and talent. Even though being onstage with you was one of my favorite places to be, it was our time off the stage that meant the most to me. The moments when you would call me and say, "Re, come get a plate" or "Re, wake up!! We are going to get pedicures. " Damn, you were bossy. Lol. But what I crave the most are your generous bear hugs. They always gave me peace. My brother, my best friend and my protector, there isn't a day that goes by where you are not roaming around in my thoughts. To say I miss you is probably the deepest understatement, but boy, do I ever. I pray I continue to make you proud. I love you forever. ❤️
