Droid Razr HD Kitkat CWM Recovery install & Root

How to install CWM recovery after updating to the official Kitkat ota update. This only works if you have a unlocked bootloader

I followed the instructions including how you reboot into recovery but my phone just will not go into CWM. All I get is a blue Motorola screen warning that the bootloader is unlocked then the phone boots normally into OS.

can someone plz give me details, where is adb bundle and where can i download it, i tried many times to flash recovery but it just not boot into recovery rather its booting into normal startup. pls help

look. I'm trying to root my Droid RAZR HD. running 4.4.2.
I keep getting different info.
it has to be downgraded to 4.1
but the bootloader has to be unlocked.
but then I go to unlock the bootloader it says it has to be rooted. then I go to root it. it says it has to be unlocked. which is it.
is there a step by step how to. this is driving me nuts

It didn't stick at first, but I found this thread.  It deals with making sure HOW you do the reboot.  Ya gotta hang onto that vol + key a little longer...
