Snoop Dogg To Lead Celebrity Olympic Torch Relay In Paris

Snoop Dogg is set to carry the Olympic torch on its final stretch at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The 52-year-old posted a photo to Instagram with the caption “U Ready? Paris 2024 Olympics ya digggg”.

The ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot Rapper’ will carry the torch through he streets of Saint-Denis, a northern suburb that houses the Stade de France Olympic Stadium.

Snoop Dogg will also act as a guest NBC correspondent at the Olympics for which he is “thrilled”.

“We’re going to have some amazing competitions and, of course, I will be bringing that Snoop style to the mix. It’s going to be the most epic Olympics ever, so stay tuned” said Snoop Dogg.

BTS member Jin, Halle Berry, US footballer Megan Rapinoe, and F1 driver Charles Leclerc are among other torchbearers.
