How do cases deal with the iPhone 16 Camera Control button?!

I’m using an Apple silicone case because I need to protect it today (I can’t be bothered to wait until third parties get it right) and I don’t want to compromise on the new feature - which I’m actually using!

I normally don’t buy an Apple case but I will buy the clear case until the 3PM get their acts together. The cut out is god awful

I bought a Totalee clear MagSafe case that has a recessed cut out over the camera button. I am struggling to figure it out. If I press, I take a picture but if I double tap, I can sometimes get the different camera features to show up. I hope I can get the camera button consistently
working as I really like the case. I’m a little bit concerned. Maybe I need to just keep practicing. 🤔

I hate the cutout cases. I have an ESR case with the cutout for $16 and it feels awkward to hold and the button is basically impossible to use. I caved and bought the Spigen T clear Case with the capacitive button for $28+tax off Amazon

I’m using the silicone apple case on my 16 pro. But I really miss the apple leather case (14 pro). I prefer Apples case buttons so went with the silicone for its sleekness but not a fan of the feel. I hope they create an alternative to leather/finewoven.

I’ve got an iPhone 16 pro and have a case by pelacase. They make cases out of plant base materials with hardly any plastic.

Otter box defender has the big cutout. Leaves the button and edge of the phone completely exposed. Already cracked a screen protector 2 days in without dropping

I got the beats case because I didn’t want a giant hole in the case. Additionally I didn’t want silicone one because I feel it turns pockets inside out. I did end up getting a supcase unicorn beetle for my daughter because she didn’t like the cutout. She did have a totallee case but we returned it

I use Mous case and their hybrid screen protector for my 14 pro max. They are both amazing, dropped it screen side down on some things and my screen is fine. Wouldn’t trust anyone else.

Have the ESR and it doesn’t allow the bottom to be very functional.

I bought case from Apple Store for iphone16 n I’m unable to use the camera capture buttton with the case on so I removed the case. Now m using without back cover . What a waste of money.
