Note: Turning off the password to play a game is as simple as hitting the orange Parental Controls button on the top of your home menu! You see me do it at the very end :)

Personally, my family only uses the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls to limit how much time my little brother can spend on the console and we also do the same thing with Xbox Family Settings (Xbox One & Xbox Series X).

My biggest takeaway from nintendo handhelds are that they usually don't have a set password, so someone could just steal it from you and play all your games, that's how I lost my 3ds

By chance can this work to keep a kid from messing with the settings? Bought a switch for my nephew but he always goes into the settings and messes with things like the language and inverting colors. He’s only 5 and is gonna end up doing something he can’t reverse since he doesn’t really know what he’s doing.
