Disney Fan Debates Critical Drinker On Snow White & Gets Nuked

Disney's live action Snow White movie has continued to get backlash ever since the trailer released a few weeks ago. And now Piers Morgan has hosted a debate between The Critical Drinker, Nerdrotic and a comedian who on the side of Disney and was arguing for why Snow White is a good movie. The debate raised some pretty good points as to why Snow White, Rachel Zegler and Disney has been so heavily criticised, and so I do my best to highlight the best points of the debate here and try to analyse this entire Snow White situation.

Another difference between the 1937 & 2024 versions, is that in 1937 Snow White was feminine.

I mean, the biggest blunder of this movie is to suggest that a queen who looks like Gal Gadot would somehow be envious of Rachel Zegler's beauty and feel threatened by it. Suspension of disbelief can only be stretched so far.

Remaking Snow White with 2024 "sensibilities" was absurd from the beginning. White people=bad so the namesake of the protagonist doesn't make sense. Love for a man=bad so no true love for our protagonist and all the enrichment that can bring to her life. Woman doing domestic labor=bad so let the protagonist mooch off the dwarves and not contribute, that's a likeable quality. Depending on others, especially men=bad so let's make sure the protagonist can girl boss her way to victory somehow. WHAT IS THIS MOVIE AND WHO IS IT FOR?

Yes, and that actually looked good because they blended HAND DRAWN 2D animation into the real world with PRACTICAL EFFECTS, brilliantly. Plus, that was an actual good movie with talented actors and crew.
